- 16Sienna Spiro delivers dramatic ballads with poise and a rasp that belie her years. Like many aspiring singers, the London native put in work interpreting songs on social media, and unlike most, her work quickly paid off in a sudden burst of success with original material, including the minor 2024 U.K. hit "Maybe" and the debut EP Sink Now, Swim Later. Visitor, her first album, followed in 2026 with the sweeping Top Ten single "Die on This Hill" among its handful of charting previews.
- 17Born in London in 2005, Spiro spent her teen years sharing her takes on various covers and original songs in short-form, bite-sized videos on social media apps. A lover of jazz and hip-hop, she name-checked influences like Amy Winehouse, Frank Sinatra, and Raye and earned her first groundswell of popularity covering songs by SZA and Emeli Sandé. A songwriter since the age of ten, she took the plunge in 2024 with original tunes including "Need Me," "Maybe," "Taxi Driver," and "Back to Blonde." It was "Maybe" that became a runaway success, garnering tens of millions of streams and cracking the U.K. pop chart, where it reached number 45. Those songs and several others would form the 2025 EP Sink Now, Swim Later, released on Capitol Records. Following the intermediary single "Dream Police," Spiro previewed her first album across late 2025 and early 2026. "You Stole the Show," "Die on This Hill," and "The Visitor," plus "Material Lover" (from the soundtrack of The Devil Wears Prada 2) all hit the U.K. Top 40, with the second of those four faring best with a number nine showing.
